I would give zero stars if I could. We have had MULTIPLE issues with their billing. The most recent one is that I have an outstanding bill that I would like to pay on, but unless I pay it off in 4 months or get one of their loans (which I couldn't afford the payment on either) they will send me to collections. I've attempted to make payments that I can afford, but they still insist they will send me to collections. This shows that Valley Health doesn't care about their patients, just the money.

I have other doctors that will accept any amount of payment as long as I'm trying. Those bills will be paid off well before I give anything to Valley Health.

I have since switched out of Valley Health, and have had zero issues else where.

I was a patient through Valley Health for many years. When my Primary Care Physician left and they closed her clinic, I was unable to find any PCP in the network who could take me on as a patient. I finally got an appointment 7 months later in Winchester which is an hour away. I just got a call cancelling that appointment because the physician is now not accepting new patients. It gets much worse. I have multiple medical issues and diagnostics done by specialists including a series of MRIs that are concerning. The results of those tests were faxed but never acknowledged by anyone in Valley Health. I have messaged and called repeatedly over the last few months and each time I am told that I cannot be helped. My old PCP who left the practice does not receive any test results either. When I tried to refill prescriptions, and had the requests sent to Valley Health, I had no response. I called a Valley Health clinic and was told that they would not refill those prescriptions. The old PCP who left Valley Health has received nothing. The refusal of Valley Health to provide continued care or a timely referral constitutes a violation of the Hippocratic Oath. I will be filing a formal complaint with the AMA in the next few days.

This review is specifically for the VH Sleep Center located in MOB 1 at WMC. The VH Sleep Center office staff were unprofessional and inconsiderate. I had a referral and order sent to their office and they made no attempt to reach out to me to schedule an appointment. After I called them, they said they had no order and I would need to have the order sent. I called the referring practice and they said the order was placed in the electronic system that is shared between the VH entities. After over 3 weeks of going back and forth about the order that VH Sleep Center could not find and was in the system the entire time they finally said they had it but needed to do an insurance authorization prior to making an appointment. Again, I didn't hear back from them for 2 weeks. I called to check the status and was finally able to make an appointment. At that time it had been over a month since the initial referral was made and they were booking out over 4 months. I confirmed my appointment by reading back to them the date/time that I received. Over the 4 month waiting period, I called multiple times asking if there were any cancellations that I could take to move my appointment up. Each time I called I had to leave a voicemail and wait for someone to call me back over the next few days. Once I heard back from the office staff, I was told they didn't have any cancellations. Over 4 months they did not have a single cancellation for me to move my appointment up which is inconceivable considering there was a Covid outbreak during that time. When I showed up for the appointment on the date/time I was told and confirmed verbally over the phone, they said they did not have me down for that day and my appointment was 2 weeks later.
Their office staff is unprofessional, unreliable, and irresponsible. They treated my as though I was ignorant and an inconvenience to them. Little did they know I am a VH employee and I expect great customer service from any VH entity or practice affiliated with VH. If I didn't need to use this group due to insurance purposes I would have made an appointment elsewhere.

I had to go for a colonoscopy but I called first to get an estimate on cost and was told it would be about $1500 total since my insurance wouldn't cover it. Went for the procedure and when my bills finally started coming in the total was more than TWICE what I was quoted. Not only that but when I attempted to pay off the last of my bills I could not get through to them to pay it. The online system linked on the bill was messed up so I sent a message through that for someone to contact me and also attempted to call but had to leave a voicemail. No one has returned any of my messages and my bill has likely been sent to collections since I can't even find it in their system anymore. I will be avoiding Valley Health in the future, their billing department is extremely unhelpful.

If you have accounts on both WVU and Valley Health, (both My charts are run by Epic) you can be assured that there will be data entry screw-ups posting doctor's notes from WVU onto Valley Health and vice versa. Wrong doctor's names entered who requested bloodwork and even listing the wrong medical facility.

The Valley Health labs are VERY slow to submit bloodwork test results to the requesting doctors, forcing the doctors office to contact Valley Health to have them fax the test results. I will NEVER use Valley Health labs again. And if Epic don't stop posting wrong info on My chart, I will be seeking new doctors who are not part of Valley Health or WVU.

This review is for labor and delivery and the maternity ward. We had an absolutely amazing experience with Meredith Rudolph and her team over the summer during COVID. Our son was born there via surrogate and they took amazing care of all of us during this uncertain time. The doctors, nurses, and staff made us feel safe and very taken care of. From staying in touch with us two months pre birth and updates on ever changing COVID restrictions to two months after we left. They were also available when we had questions during our drive home. We are so grateful to them for the way they treated us during and surrounding our stay! We would happily return for our labor and delivery needs!

I’m sure my story isn’t the first to pass through these doors or any more important than the patient before me, but every single one of you made it your mission to reinstate my confidence of a tomorrow… a better tomorrow… and for that, I will be forever grateful of you and everyone behind the scenes. It’s been a journey that I never imagined I’d take, but I am SO lucky to have had YOU by my side. So, I thank you. I thank you for being who you are. I thank you for your care, wisdom, and instilling betterment within me and the many others before me. I thank YOU for being simply awesome!

Absolutely horrid pricing. Multiple different bills for a singular visit. All costs associated with visit not given at checkout. I originally was looking at a bill 5x smaller than the final amount.
