Lori took time to answer all our questions. Mom was there for a follow up after hospitalization.
Some protocols needed to be tweaked.
I also appreciate her thoughtfulness with regards to the routine bloodwork schedule. (For reference, my mom is 90).

Very helpful and nice ladies. She prescribed medicine for my cold and had me get a chest xray. The nurse called me later that day with the results and asked me to let them know how I was doing by Friday or sooner if I wasn't getting better.

Everyone at Wapello Clinic are so personable and treated me with full respect and explained everything. Dr Rashid is a very informative PA and made me feel comfortable and I left understanding my problem and a plan to get to the bottom of it and how to go about fixing it!

The ladies at the front desk are so friendly & helpful. They do a fine job. The ladies that bring you back to a room really know how to make you feel comfortable. And Donna was great. She listened to what I was saying & helped me out a lot with my medical needs & what was best for me.
Physical Therapy has two wonderful woman that really know their stuff. You walk in half crippled & come out back to yourself again, if not better.
I give this place a A+++++.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first interaction with Dr. LaFayette, so much that, I asked if she was taking new patients and if she would be my new primary care provider. Through my experience thus far, she is kind, extremely knowledgeable, thorough when it comes to answering any questions I had, she was quite attentive, and educated me on things I didn’t understand.

Worst clinic experience I have ever had for two very specific reasons. First reason; when I went to this clinic with a stress rash all over my face, I filled out the form that asks how your mental health is doing. I answered honestly and at the time my mental health was in rough shape. I was experiencing some major postpartum depression, anxiety and extreme stress. However, no one seemed to care that I wrote how unhappy I was on that form. Why give out the form if my answers don’t matter to you? It was like just checking a box for them. I really needed the help and support, and I didn’t receive it. Second reason, which is worse than the first; when my son was almost 1 year old, he experienced his first major allergic reaction to food. I rushed him to this clinic (not knowing the cause at first). Once the nurse determined what it was, they soon realized that they did not have an EpiPen or Benadryl on hand to treat him. They sent someone to the local pharmacy up the road to get Benadryl. The fact that they did not have an EpiPen, a crucial and important life saving medicine, is and always will be extremely worrisome. I drove myself and my baby to Burlington so he could be properly treated at the hospital where they injected him with epinephrine, which he so desperately needed. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. I am still negatively affected by this memory. I hope this review allows this clinic to make better decisions in regard to their patients’ wellbeing, and the life saving medicine they should have on hand at all times.
