I went to the ER for an issue with my port and was told “We are not surgeons “ The Er doctor acted as if he didn’t care and nurses was rude. They Er nurses was pulling on my port talking about this is how to make it work which only made the pain worse this first time in the long time coming to this Er and it will be last time I should have went Dublin where the doctors and nurses really care

I had the best experience under the worst possible circumstances over the weekend. I was seen and evaluated in the ED and was well taken care of even though the ED was overcrowded due to a variety of issues generated by the aftermath of Hurricane Helene! I was admitted for 2 days and the care I received was over and above expectations! The hospital pulled nurses and staff from other departments due to the issues caused by Helene. Even during a disaster Washington County Regional Medical Center was there to provide quality care to those in need!!

Well it is Sandersville. We came to the emergency room. The check in girl had a scowl on her face. I explained the reason for the visit and she said fill this out, a basic information sheet. We are currently waiting to be seen. Everyone that works here seems to be going through the motions. There isn't any urgency in what they are barely doing.
Like I said before it is Sandersville. Still waiting, three hours to get x-rays read. Witnessed an injured person leave because he tired of waiting.

I was seen quickly in the ER. The doctor and staff were kind and gracious.

I brought my niece to the ER because it seemed that she was having an allergic reaction. The doctor that came into the triage did not introduce himself, asked what was wrong, and proceeded to cut us off when I tried to tell him. If I had not been anxious about taking niece elsewhere, I would have. I'm sure that not all of doctors on their staff have such atrocious bedside manners. To the one that "treated" my niece, I will say "assumptions are dangerous sir, you should listen before inserting what you think is the case. Also, don't cut people off. It's very rude." The other staff that worked with her were very nice, but it only takes one person to start giving a place a bad representation.

I went in today to get a Mammogram & Ultrasound done on my breast...I got the Mammogram done first. Then after it was done I was told to wait in a room and a technician will come get me to do the Ultrasound. Seconds later someone knocks on the door and ask me to come with her to preform my Ultrasound. Shelby was very nice, professional and talked me through everything she was doing. However after 15 minutes goes by someone just busted in the room no knock or anything and just came in and stood beside the bed. I stated Who Are You?...And she stated she was Shelby's teacher Savanah....Never Knocked NOR Did She Introduced Herself...just barged in while I was half naked no respect or care for me or my privacy nor did she demonstrate protocol to the student that she was supposed to be training and not letting her do the Ultrasound alone that it's a must to respect All patients and knock on closed doors All The Time at a hospital no matter if it's a doctor, teacher, dietary aide or housekeeper you always have to knock. I ask if I could speak to her manager and she sent in the woman that did my Mammogram who was clearly not her manager or supervisor..smh...fortunately I was able to report this poor behavior to proper authorities. This is why most people that live in Sandersville don't even go there because people like this will try to treat you like you don't matter.
I'd Rather Drive 30 Miles Then To Go Back There...Smh...And on top of that they refuse to give me my results of my Mammogram or Ultrasound but yet sent my results to a doctor that I never even been too, don't even know and didn't consent for them to send any of my info to this doctor that's all the way in Augusta but won' tell me my own results..Worst Hospital Ever.
Pam Stewart the Nursing Chief Officer Needs To Be Fired. She called me on Monday September 18th and told me I couldn't have the results of my Mammogram or Ultrasound which is against the HIPPA LAW....ALL PATIENTS HAVE THE RIGHT TO THEIR DIAGNOSIS AND HEALTH RESULTS...You cannot refuse or withhold a patients diagnosis or findings from a procedure that they had done and that's exactly what Pam Stewart is doing refusing to give me my results. ...I Will Be FILING A COMPLAINT Against Her With HIPPA,BBB,,Insurance Company And The Hospital!!!!

My mom just recently had to be admitted to Washington County Hospital for a double pneumonia. She ended up having complications and was airlifted to Atlanta. The staff was amazing the whole time she was there. They communicated with us very well and we felt like we were saying goodbye to family when she left. Thank you to all the nurses and doctors for the exceptional care.

The ER staff is rude and don't take each patients health seriously. I wish we had a better hospital it's sad it is not like a store or restaurant where u can choose not visit again. Best believe of it is not life or death I will drive the drive to Milledgeville or Dublin😡
