Weld County Health Department

Very rude lady at the desk (besides Isabel or Isabella). They refused to see my daughter because we were a few minutes late even though I called ahead of time twice. After that they sent me a message saying "I missed the appointment". No, I had to leave work early which isn't easy at my job, drive 20 minutes there just for y'all to say the nurse won't see me because she wanted to go home early. She has no other appointments and 1 hour before they close. Ridiculous! If I could I would rate the service provided and everyone in there a zero.

Great service. I was the only one there, not crowded at all. They did a great thorough job. They even distracted my 1 year old with toys and let me breastfeed there. Will definitely come back and recommend.

The health department can be a difficult place for clinical care because the department serves many in difficult situations. At-scale public care requires efficiency and limits the ability to provide the clinical 'niceties' of a private commercially funded doctor. When you go in with an expectation that is consistent with this level of care, these are heroes doing their best to meet a vast array of needs: COVID vaccines, foster medical care, employee medical care, travel vaccines, and much more. My visit was not exactly fast but was filled will nice people trying hard to do their job.

The prenatal clinic is amazing, Annabelle & Paula really made me feel like they truly care about my wellbeing aswell as my family's. Paula offers advice and is a great listener and is very open to why I don't want to do certain processes. I'll be going to Paula again with next baby!

Terrible experience getting the COVID vaccine! My daughter went to the Weld County Health Department for her 1st dose of the Moderna vaccine. Called in the morning & scheduled an appointment for 2:30 that same day. Specifically asked if they had Moderna & was told yes, however when she got there she was told they did not have Moderna because “the truck didn’t come yet”. They took her name & number and said they would call within 1 hr and let her know if it came in. 1st red flag- why schedule appointments without having the vaccine on hand? So we wait 30 min & call again just to check and see if “the truck” came yet, this time she’s told that there will not be any Moderna vaccines available today. She asked again for clarification if there was ANY WAY she could get the Moderna vaccine that day & was told 100% no. 2nd red flag- different info given from different people you talk to, completely inconsistent. So at that point we leave & drive back home (about 30 min away) only to then get the call that she can come back to get the Moderna vaccine…..what?!?!?! So first you have it, then you don’t have it, then you “might” have it, then you 100% don’t have it, then you do have it? What kind of “County Health Department” runs a show like this? So we turned around & drove back to get it, crossing our fingers that it was legit & wasn’t more misinformation. And to top it off, the “nurse” who administered the vaccine did not wear gloves & did not wash her hands….3rd red flag!!! ?‍♀️ I would highly discourage anyone from going to the Weld County Health Department!

Weld county is by far the worst county when it comes to handling Medicaid patients. There is no one to speak with about changes to your information, and it's blatantly obvious they have no concern with the health, let alone lives, of the people who live here. I'm beyond disappointed with the services rendered and I plan to take action against them to prevent future situations like this from happening to innocent people in need of care just like myself.

I come here alot. It's good. But some of , one in particular Nurse practitioners is rude forceful and judgemental. I've seen with me my mother and sister. That's not right. I hope it will get better and fixed asap.

There is never a month's wait just to make an appointment everytime I went never was crowded always found a place to sit. Plus they were also fast.
