I am deeply disappointed with the level of customer service and professionalism I experienced during my recent visit. As a single father, I was made to feel marginalized and disrespected by the receptionist, Tonya, when I requested care for my daughter. She insisted that I provide a letter from my child’s mother, implying that my role as a father was insufficient. This level of bias and insensitivity is unacceptable, especially in a medical setting where all parents should feel supported.

The situation worsened when I encountered the nurse, Shannon. Upon asking for her name, she initially responded dismissively, saying her name was simply “Nurse.” When I reintroduced myself, she finally provided her actual name. This lack of professionalism left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome.

Additionally, I was shocked by the doctor’s response regarding a graduated specimen collection pan (a urine sample catch)—a basic and essential tool when working with toddlers and adolescents. The doctor stated that they didn’t carry it because it wasn’t “used enough.” My young daughter, understandably, struggled to use a standard small specimen cup, and no assistance or alternative solutions were offered. My elderly, blind mother had brought my daughter to the appointment on my behalf, and the lack of support from the staff made an already challenging situation even harder.

This experience left me feeling as though my concerns as a parent were disregarded and that the staff lacked both empathy and professionalism. I strongly urge other families, especially single fathers, to seek care elsewhere.

They were very friendly as we came in. We waited less than 5 minutes to be seen. The appointment was for 2:30 and they took us back before the scheduled appointment. The doctor and nurse were very friendly and attentive. The doctor took her time with us and we didn't seem rushed in and out. They gave us a baby book and calendar. We were leaving at 2:45. I've been to other doctor's offices and waited over an hour to be seen. This has a small town vibe to it and we love it here. I will definitely recommend them to others.

I've been looking to leave this practice for a while, mostly due to customer service, well, lack thereof. My children are assigned to this practice, but because of that, we typically do urgent care for sick visits. We don't come often, not even for well visits, but every single visit leaves a sour taste in my mouth for various reasons. Today's visit will likely be our last with this practice. I walk in with a smile and hello to at least 4 people behind the don't desk, and not one person responded. Then as I'm sitting in the well area, a nurse or MA or whoever walks through that I greet, and again, crickets...

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE!!! This doctor's office is not there to take care of your child, but to take your money. My daughter was seen by several people, and each were okay, the Nurse Practitioner was very nice and seemed to care. But, I personally saw a parent arguing with a nurse that she said was rude to her. It was very loud and unprofessional. The office is very unclean as well. The equipment is falling apart, the walls are extremely dirty, and there is a lack of professionalism from some of the staff. My issue with this office is like another review. They kept charging me $50 every visit, even though I'd met my deductible. I had my insurance speak to them to let them know my deductible was met and shouldn't be charged. They said it was an office policy. The final straw that made me find another office was that I needed paper work, which would cost me $5. They recommended I come in instead for shots that week rather then wait a month. I came in two days later and they charged me $98 for a visit that they said my insurance had not paid. When I called my insurance to see why, my insurance informed me that they had fallen out of network earlier in the year and did not qualify for the service to be covered. They never told me that. Instead they were still trying to get my insurance to pay for their lack of attention to stay in the network. They never informed me that they'd fallen out of network. To make things worse, they would not see my daughter until I paid them more money. I'd just paid them $50 two weeks prior for another visit. When I asked my insurance about the prior charges, my insurance said they'd been paid. So I'd paid them money, my insurance paid the claim, and when I asked for my money back, they said they didn't give people the money they considered "credit". I asked my insurance what they thought, while I was in the office, they said to find a new doctor's office. I guess when the head doctor heard this, she came out of her office and asked me to turn down my phone. This office is not professional, I don't blame the staff, they are following orders. But to charge me and others $50 each visit even though we don't have a co pay because, and this is their words, other people don't pay, is ridiculous. Do not, I repeat, do not take your child here. If you do, prepare to be charged money for no reason. Go at your on peril.

This company deserves no stars. My nephew and his 11 month old daughter recently moved up here to Villa Rica with me and he wanted to find a pediatrician for her and he took her to this office. When he got there he check her in they sent him to the room then the Doctor Gwendell Thompson came in and start questioning him asking about his daughter last name cause she doesn’t have his last name, asking when did the baby last had a bottle mind you the baby is about to be one November 21st so she doesn’t drink a bottle no more basically giving him the third degree and trying to say he is not the father. He was frustrated and got smart with the doctor and she eventually walked out. Her nurse comes in and explains it a little and told him he just have to get a picture Id and a letter stating he can bring her to the doctor from the mother of the baby. He got the info called them on November 7th to get the email to send the info they kept telling him they were busy. On November 8th 2024 I get a knock at my door from the police department about this office calling them saying my Nephew didn’t answer none of their questions he didn’t know nothing about his daughter just straight lies. When they left after we talk and I explained to them just like we explained to this doctor office I ended up calling the office. Nurse Heather is the one I talked to and all she can say is I can’t talk to you about this cause your not on her paperwork at which she said there was no paperwork. So I asked her who do I need to get to call for about this situation and she hangs the phone up in my face. I called back and she does the same thing mind you I wasn’t arguing I was simply asking who I need to get to call about yall sending the police to my house all she can do was hang up the phone. Very unprofessional and I see why they have a 2.7 stars. All in all God was on our side cause the police told us don’t worry about it this case is close cause it was no reason for them to even had been called. Terrible place I regret even going there.

This place is ridiculous! Unprofessional and the lead doctor and their staff is poorly trained. I was told I could get a my daughters blood retested because three of the blood test came back below normal range. They refused to have my daughter rechecked and didn’t apologize for the waste of time. They do not care about your children’s well being. It’s all about the money here. I was told I could get a blood retest but needed to make another appointment with them first, to get the order to retest. When I got here they refused to give my daughter a retest that came back lower than normal range. Go somewhere else for your child’s health services, this place is run down, and they do not care about their patients.
