It's so refreshing as a female to go into an office and be listened to. Dr. Stephen was so personable and willing to believe my issues, and not immediately suggest I seek behavioral health for issues having nothing to do with behavioral health. Thanks a million. I feel hopeful in my treatment!

Staff is friendly. The doctor always takes time to explain everything and to make sure I have no additional questions or concerns. The young lady who took my blood is amazing--I didn't even feel the needle going into my vein.

Went for blood work and new patient intake. The staff here are so kind and went out of their way to accommodate for me and my needs. I've never walked out of a doctors office feeling excited for my next appointment in 6 months before coming here.

My appointment was an Annual physical that went perfectly and could not be happier than I am.
Following the Annual Physical I received an absolute painless flu shop.
Thank you for your medical service.

*BEWARE of billing practices*

Good doctors overall, but beware of billing practices. I am a longtime patient (over nine years) and I’ve been noticing a decline, mainly with the office staff. This year in particular, I noticed a new billing code called G2211. This was tacked on top of my normal office visit with my primary care physician. The code states it is for “Visit complexity inherent to evaluation and management associated with medical care services that serve as the continuing focal point for all needed health care services.” Is that not what you expect from your Primary Care Doctor? This was a very simple visit, and I was with my doctor for less than 10 minutes.

My insurance company (United Healthcare) denied the G2211 code and said it is not covered by my plan. Mind you, the practice assured me they are in-network and accept my insurance. I have a $0 copay for Primary Care, and I’d even met my out-of-pocket max for the entire year, yet I have an outstanding balance for this charge that seems inappropriate. I’ve also paid this code out of pocket at least once before earlier in the year without realizing it.

After reviewing the recent EOB, I contacted the office. Over the past six weeks, it’s been no less than four phone calls still without a resolution. This includes leaving a voicemail for the Office Manager Margie, as well as speaking directly to the Billing Manager Tiffany. If a Billing Department Manager is not even authorized to remove an inappropriate $27 charge for a loyal patient, this tells me there are systemic management issues.

Despite loving my doctor, I cannot in good faith remain with a practice that operates this way. I will be looking elsewhere for a new Primary Care provider.

UPDATE - Despite repeated phone calls and voicemails for over a month, I got no resolution. However, a day after posting, I was notified that the charge was waived. Two days later, I received a certified letter stating they will no longer provide me with medical care because the physicians feel they are unable to meet my expectations.

All I expected was not to have inappropriate charges and to resolve the issue when contacting billing. Thankfully, I already have an appointment with a new primary care doctor elsewhere. I encourage everyone who uses this practice to please review your EOB closely.
