My review is based on my experience with Dr. Wiles PA Jill Neilson since I never actually met Dr. Wiles in person. While I am sure she is well educated in Endocrinology she must have skipped bedside manner class. I’ve never been treated so rudely in all my life by anyone in the medical field. She takes no interest in learning or knowing her patients and is quick to dismiss you as a patient if you refuse any services (in this case a flu shot already offered through primary). Then called my Dr’s office to extend her opinion of why I will no longer be a patient of hers before I could get there which was less than a two minute drive. Jill also did not call in my prescriptions as promised so now I’m left scrambling for refills until I can see my primary again to explain. Insulin is not something a diabetic can just do without! My advice to her would be to go back and read the part in her schooling that says, “First, do no harm”. This is a business of service to the ill not just about money! I’ve had the same set of Dr’s for 20 years back home and 6 years here at my primary so it’s sad to run across this in my search for good care!

I called this office twice trying to get a new patient appointment for my husband. We were looking for a more specialized doctor due to my husband's medical issues. I was advised that someone would call us back to give us a medical
"interview". She then proceeded to tell me that the results would be sent to the doctor to look over & decide if she wants to accept you as a patient which is not normal. And what's funny is NO ONE ever called us back! This practice is a JOKE!! Luckily, we found a highly recommended Internal Medicine physician in Hiawassee.

My physician was Dr Elizabeth Wiles, the daughter of Mary Beth Wiles. I chose Dr Wiles in 2015 when we moved from Florida to Blairsville. Dr Wiles was professional, pleasant, and I enjoyed using her as my physician....that is until I had my Medicare Wellness appointment. She suggested having a mammogram as well as bone density test. I had a mammogram yearly for the past ten years and was aware I had osteoporosis. I felt I could forgo a mammogram this year and did not see a need for the bone density test. Dr Wiles said Medicare would pay for both tests so I agreed. Neither Medicare or BCBS would pay because both tests were done too early. When Kathleen, office staff, scheduled both procedures, I assumed she would check if Medicare and BCBS would pay. I did not know the exact dates of either procedure because her office staff had lost my medical history hardcopies in 2015! I am now stuck with a $624 bill. Dr Wiles could have offered to pay half the bill. Live and learn. Needless to say, I cannot recommend five stars.

I have been with Dr Wiles since she first came to Blairsville. The best with knowledge & compassion/knows her”stuff”. Have moved to Florida PCB-and since hurricane:difficulty finding good medical care,so still see her when in area.As a retired nurse it’ hard to find physicians you trust and she’s it!

Be wise in writing your honest review. You may get a phone call announcing that you need to find another Primary Physician 2 days prior to your scheduled appointment without as much as a 30 day supply of your general medications. (Nothing Controlled.) It's truly a Blessing in discuise because, when you don't have any confidence in "THE STAND IN", it's scary. I have come across nearly 10 other patients that have been insulted, belittled and/or brought to tears, while being screamed at by the Junior. When their own office staff reveals that none of the office staff can get along with her, either and don't think highly nor respect Junior! It's sad. Worse than that is, 35 years of very hard work by Mary Beth to build a thriving, we'll respected business and when she want to back off, it's a well known statistic that all 2nd Generation Businesses have a 70% failure rate, 3td Generation Businesses have a 90% failure rate due to their sense of Entitlement. Mary Beth started out hungry, with a drive to be successful and a dream. Sadly, Junior has never experienced that. Best of Luck Existing Patients but, walk softly! I do have some questions as to time spent and certain procedures performed in my billing. Will be looking into that, slowly. I just think the termination of the Services could have been handled differently, possibly face to face, woman to woman. I'm an upfront person and don't do business in cowardly ways.
