I recently suffered bilateral tricep tendon tears due to a sports related injury. Dr. Walker was my surgeon at Georgia Bone and Joint in Newnan, Georgia and did a remarkable job. He utilized the most advanced products and pioneered techniques in utilizing them for the procedure that made a real difference in my outcome. First of all, post op there was very little pain and I required not even a single Tylenol. My mobility, strength and range of motion have progressed remarkably over the last 3 months and my incisions are barely noticeable. As a professional pilot that needs to maintain a medical to fly, I required a superior outcome for my career and Dr. Walker and his team delivered just that. I highly recommend Dr. Walker as an Orthopedic Surgeon. He took so much care and time to explain the process to me and post op has been wonderful as well. His skills and knowledge using the latest techniques and products available made a real difference to ensure an excellent outcome. My elbows/triceps feel better now than they have in 10 years with smooth and pain free elbow flexion. I am so thankful for Dr. Walker and the entire staff at Georgia Bone and Joint, including the wonderful folks in the Physical Therapy department who spent many hours with me in rehab making sure I was progressing well after the procedure.

Dr. Walker came highly recommended as a shoulder specialist. He quickly diagnosed my torn rotator cuff, gave me a couple of options. I elected arthroscopic surgery to repair the shoulder.
He and his staff provided me with very thorough information concerning the entire process. They were quick to answer my questions completely. The surgery process was very caring and professional. Georgia Bone and Joint Physical therapy has been fantastic in bringing about my recovery.

Dr. Walker did my Achilles tear surgery. Everything healed great and I am able to do all the activities I used to. I also saw him recently for some knee pain and he recommended resting it. It was nice and uncommon I think for a surgeon to not immediately recommend surgery. I believe he cares about a persons healing more than just making a buck off of getting a certain number of surgeries done.

I tore my ACL at a Spartan race on Saturday. Dr. Walker got me in the following Monday and ordered a MRI. This confirmed an ACL/MCL tear. Dr. Walker came highly recommended through his patients, surgical reps, scrub techs, and colleagues. I underwent ACL repair at the surgery center and then had PT in his office. It was a one stop shop from office visit, MRI, surgery, and PT. The staff is wonderful and Dr. Walker is kind, patient, and thorough. He is an excellent surgeon and I have had a great recovery. I am back working out and playing sports without restrictions. I am pain free and feel like an athlete again. As an orthopedic PA for almost 20 years I felt like I had access to any doctor, and I knew many people to talk to in order to choose the best doctor. I am so glad I chose Dr. Walker.

3 months post ACL surgery on my 16 year old son. We could not have asked for better! Very minimal swelling, scars look amazing, he started running last week. Still a long road to full recovery, but so far we are extremely pleased! Great bedside manner, never had to wait at an appointment, and staff has been so nice and accommodating. Physical therapists at GB&J and trainers at NHS have been very impressed with results!!
