When I got my crown put on, they worked me in quickly and I got everything done in one day since they are able to make crowns onsite. This helped me a lot since I didn't have to miss multiple days from work. I highly recommend Georgia Family Dental.

I recently visited your dental clinic, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. While I appreciate your expertise as a dentist, I must express my disappointment with the office manager and insurance specialist.
When we arrived, we specifically inquired about our insurance coverage. Your team assured us that the procedure would be 100% covered. Based on this information, we proceeded with the extractions.
When the service was done, we were told to pay, saying that the amount exceeded what the insurance coverage. At that moment, I was pretty pissed as wrong information was provided, but I still paid. And I did check with the front desk and they said everything is settled.
After one or two months later, a text sent from this office asking us to pay more. So I called the office back asking what the fee was about. They told me it is the difference between what the insurance company paid them and the charge, and the amount they shared during our visit was an "Estimate". The office manager, in her exact word: "we used premium filing but the insurance only covers the basic". And the insurance specialist tried to push the responsibility away saying go talk to my insurance company and and it is my fault that I don't understand the insurance policy.

#1: customer doesn't deal with insurance directly, as a care provider, when you run our policy, you should have the best/most updated information before advising us. This discrepancy caused frustration and confusion.
#2: During subsequent interactions, there was no acknowledgment of the incorrect information provided REPEATEDLY earlier. As a patient, I expected an apology for the inconvenience caused.
#3: The office manager and insurance specialist seemed quick to shift blame. Instead of taking ownership, they suggested I contact my insurance company. As a patient, I believe that your team should verify information thoroughly before advising patients. Passing the responsibility back to me was disheartening.
#4: The repeated use of the term “estimate” during the call was frustrating. While I understand that estimates can vary, encountering this discrepancy multiple times eroded my confidence.
#5: At some point during the call, they gave me the attitude that I cannot communicate with you (language?) and you go read up your policy.

Dr. Ron, I believe you deserve a more competent and empathetic support team. Patients rely on accurate information and respectful communication. I hope you address these concerns promptly to enhance the patient experience.

Dr. Ron Chemmalakuzhy did an excellent job on my husband’s wisdom teeth removal. My husband’s previous dentist recommended taking them all out but only felt comfortable taking out two of them and referred us elsewhere. It was complicated and we knew that going in but Dr. Chemmalakuzhy handled it with ease and kept my husband calm through the whole procedure. He gave detailed instructions on the care afterwards and husband is doing well.

The staff was also great and very friendly- both the front office and assistants. They even had little toys at the front for our little one. Would definitely recommend this practice.
