Dr. Lin and the entire staff are great. I've done it all there: crown, bridge, dental implant, and even orthodontics. I can tell you from personal experience that they take pride in their work and make sure you're happy with the results. The staff is great from everyone at the front desk to the great dental assistants. Desi and the crew always make me feel at ease no matter how worried I get lol. I've been going here for years and I'm so glad I have this crew making my smile look great 🙂 Cheers to Dr. Lin, Desi and all the crew for being the best!!!

This past Wednesday was the first time my parents and I visited K&E Dental in Lawndale 🦷😃! My dentist, Dr Kris Murakawa, who I have been going to for my own dental care at Murakawa Dental in Alhambra, co-owns K&E Dental with her husband, Dr Eric Lin 🙂!

My parents had been going to a dentist in Buena Park (North Orange County 🍊). Both of them received their deep cleaning there last month and thought the deep cleaning services were fine. But my mom became skeptical of some of the potential charges that this Buena Park dental office was making that were not part of the treatment care plan, and that even the insurance company was flagging.

I asked Dr Kris for advice, and asked if perhaps it might be best for my parents to get a second opinion. Because her own dental office in Alhambra is heavily booked with appointments, and also because it’s difficult in general for us to drive my parents’ mobility van all the way to San Gabriel Valley and park it there, I asked her if perhaps my parents might be able to see her husband, Dr Eric, at their K&E Lawndale office.

She provided me with their phone number. I made an appointment right away for my dad, whose tooth was hurting him.

Dr Eric and his staff were super warm, friendly and welcoming 🙂! They took new X-rays and made my parents feel very comfortable ☺️! Based on the X-rays, Dr Eric was really thorough with his examination, gave a very solid and candid second opinion, and told us what he really felt needed to be done versus what was not necessary.

He said my dad needed to do a tooth extraction, but also said he felt that bridge work to be done with 2 subsequent appointments would be better than doing an implant. The total of 3 appointments done over about 3 weeks (including yesterday’s appointment) was much better than having to do an implant (which, from start to finish, could take as long as up to 8 months).

We were impressed with his really warm bedside manner and with how he and his staff promptly started work right away 😳! They took special care into consideration, due to his medical condition and special needs ☺️. And it just so happens that they extracted his tooth 🦷 a few days before his birthday weekend 🥳 🎂 🎈 🎊 so he can actually enjoy his birthday cake 🎂 and be able to eat pain-free 😆!

It really helped that their office also has an ADA restroom with a large space and well-equipped with grab bars 🙂! This restroom also has a Koala Kare 🐨 diaper-changing station for clients who have to change diapers for their babies 👶.

It also really helped that there are 2 van-accessible 🚐 handicapped spots right in front of the building. The parking lot that K&E shares with a Dollar Tree store 💵 🌳 can get busy. But overall, the parking is manageable.

To go with the super optimistic and vibrant atmosphere of the awesome staff 🌟 , the dental office itself is so beautifully decorated 😍 with UCLA 🐻 🐾 💙💛 and USC ✌🏻 ❤️💛 nostalgia 😃!! As well as a calming aquarium 😌 🐠🐟to ease any nerves 😬😟 anyone might have going to the dentist 🦷 🪥!

I would highly recommend anyone who is looking 👀 for a great dentist and dental practice to come here 😄 🙌!! We definitely look forward to coming back 😃!!

I’ve come to K&E for a few years now and always leave smiling with my extra clean and bright teeth. Dr. Katie and Daisy are a dream team! This clinic is super updated, clean, and employs the most friendly and knowledgeful staff. From the moment you call, a kind receptionist will work with your busy schedule to ensure a quick appointment. All of the hygienists, technicians, front desk, and the doctors are extremely personable. I love that they clearly outline the prices without any surprise fees and discuss what your insurance provider will cover. They truly take the time to discuss treatment plans in detail and are very considerate of your financial conerns. Kudos to the front desk for always playing soothing and fun music to help ease any nerves of going to the dentist.

Their equipment is fully updated with a digital x ray machine and the finest tools to get you the whitest smile. Everything is super sterile and there is a lovely waiting room with a kids corner. I've been here for everything from an annual teeth cleaning to an effortless tooth implant. They are so gentle with all of their procedures and considerate of all pain. I appreciate their thorough home instructions to ensure comfort and their email/text appointment reminders.

Dr. Lin and your kind employees, I want to thank you for helping me achieve the healthiest smile. I'm not only smiling because my teeth are in the best condition they've ever been, but I'm very happy to have a dentist office as awesome as yours!!!

I have since changed my mind about my 2 star review over a year ago.: see below at the end of this review. I have come to find that a lot of the mishaps that I had was due to miscommunication. Once the Dr. And I started working together things seemed to get better between he and I and the staff. He was very patient with me in communicating our next steps and the process of my treatment as well as informing the the staff of this process so that everyone is on the same page. I am glad that didn't give up on this place or my dentist because I did believe in him as he was the first dentist that I didn't feel any pain with and my best dentist. As far as Inca the receptionist, we were able to work through our miscommunications. She has been very patient, encouraging, and positive in supporting throughout this long process of my dental treatment. I am sorry Inca for my negative review of you in the past. You have been very nice to me.💞
⭐⭐past review The receptionist Inka/Inca is rude. Really poor customer service talks over you put the phone down sighs and talks back. Considering finding another office. Should not have to deal with this. Haven't figured if its the doctors or the staff will keep u updated.

This office is great! From the staff to the dentist and hygienist, everyone was so friendly and professional. I felt really comfortable because the office is super clean and I can tell they are doing everything they can to keep their employees and patients safe. This was my go to dentist for a few years now up until today. There’s nothing worst then receiving a statement bill a year later being responsible for charges that you had absolutely no idea 1. Your insurance didn’t cover and 2. That you even had on the radar. Why these people call me in February 2024 about a bill that was due way back in March 2023.
Oh their excuse we’re sorry for the inconvenience we are working hard to get things back on track in our offices. A whole year of neglectful book keeping is WILD, Dis-tasteful and irresponsible to say the least. I’m sooo irritated because now it seems I have a bill I NEVER knew about that I have to pay. Nevertheless I wasn’t even TOLD my insurance wouldn’t cover the procedure. It’s terrible and the world definitely needs to be aware because this can happen to you. Get a bill a year later that’s crazy!!!!

I have never left a negative review but I feel like I owe it to anyone looking for a Dentist to share my experience.
I had two Crowns put in at K&E Dental. Within 2 years one cracked into pieces and the other fell out. When I went back the Dr.said we will take care of this, But then the young lady who handles the money came in and wanted me to pay full price to have the crown repaired. I told her that I wasn't ok with that... she said that it was her decision and that was that. I spent over $2500 to have them installed the first time and why would I want to pay for it again when I can not trust the quality of work. I will be taking them to Small Claims Court to try and recoup the money wasted on their poor low quality work.
If you're looking for a Dentist that does great work and stands behind it...don't come here!!

WOW! What a refreshing dental experience. I needed a filling replaced that had come out and I was able to get it done the same day and It was the most comfortable dental experience I've ever had! The staff was soo nice and it didn't even feel like a dental visit. I told my mom to come in too because she needs a dental implant and I found out they do them here too! I found my spot! Thanks Dr. Chia!

They keep pushing for unnecessary services — invisilign, mouth rinse treatments, cleanings every 4 months vs twice a year, deep cleanings. I have good dental hygiene, and have seen numerous different dentists for my twice annual visits, and never have I been told I supposedly need any of these treatments.

I stuck with this place for a couple years because they had the Saturday appointments, but now that they do not, I will be looking for a dentist office that does not try to profit off unnecessary services
