This experience has been the absolute best! Dr. Bell has this experience down to a every detail. He truly cares about his patients from the beginning to the end yep and everything in the middle. I am so appreciative that I was sent to him. My surgery was complete success!!! He was right I woke up and said “ I should have done this surgery years ago” I am so grateful he advised me to go get a better quality of life you are only 50 go live it!!! There are truly no limits now! I appreciate every text message that tells you actually what to do before and after your surgery. The bedside matter of all his staff they are incredible because they have a great humble leader. Attitude reflects Leadership and you are the best role model. I would like to say that I have totally enjoyed the interraction with the daily text messages. I knew I could count on the information given and they would tell me what to do as I experienced different things during my recovery. They kept me focused and on track to do my knee exercises. I even enjoyed the jokes too. So much information was shared every day and when I needed more instruction all I had to do was type the main word ie. "Swelling" or "Icing" if I need more instruction.

From the very first step out of my car to the surgery floor and in recovery, Dr.Bell's team was phenomenal, patient, professional and pleasant. Even when I had a small unexpected situation found inside my knee, Dr. Bell took care of it, and still replaced my knee as he promised, and assured my family and me that I would be fine, but needed to keep me a couple days to receive further proper care and antibiotics to prevent any infection and ensure there was nothing else to worry about. Even when I started to feel a bit overwhelmed, Dr. Bell called me in my hospital room and assured me my knee replacement was a success. He then visited me the very next day to check on me and give me the positive news that my culture of the tumor he took out was clear of any sign of something worse. So, trust me when I say that I have nothing but glowing remarks for my knee replacement experience as Dr. Bell's patient and would highly recommend him and his team at Piedmont Newnan Hospital to be top tier care. Thanks to everyone who I interracted with including Stacy to get me scheduled as soon as possible this year...whew! And especially to the nursing staff and physical therapy staff, thank you truly for your patient and understanding demeanor. I was treated with kindness and dignity at each encounter. I will forever be grateful to you ALL.

Dr. Bell not only encourages you but does so continuously with his text message program. This is an invaluable resource for encouragement, information and knowledge as to where you are daily but where you’re going. I never felt out of touch with my surgery healing.
His gentle touch and kind words just make you want to succeed. I will never say knee surgery is easy but it can be passable with the right words of encouragement and knowledge. Thank you Dr. Bell, nothing but the best!

My experience with a Total Knee Replacement couldn’t be any better. Dr. Joshua Bell, and his entire Staff, have been awesome. From pre-op appointments, to the surgery itself, to the post-op appointments, to the care given AND so importantly to the Text Program Dr. Bell has for his patients. Daily texts charting your progress with where you should be each day for seven weeks! Those texts were so informative and so appreciated!!!
