My experience with Optimum Foot and Ankle Centers has been very positive. I am so thankful that Dr. Felicia Dickson Pierre is taking care of me. I needed foot surgery ~ 2 months ago and Dr. Pierre and her staff (Ms. Audrey and Ms. Ann) immediately took me on as a patient and have taken care of me as carefully as a close family member. My case was complicated but Dr. Pierre took time to triage my medical needs and has been following me carefully every week. I am so grateful and feel really blessed that she is my physician. Thank you, Dr. Felicia Dickson Pierre! Thank you, Ms. Audrey and Ms. Ann!

Dr. Pierre is a piss poor podiatrist and unprofessional. Due to her lack of expertise in her field both my mother and I to had to seek a professional podiatrist at Emory Podiatry to properly correct our podiatric needs. We have not been patients of hers since 2019. She has the audacity to send a threatening collections letter for fees that weren't collected at the time services rendered on separate office visits four years ago. So you lack the ability to provide satisfactory patient care, incompetent at collecting co-pays and fees for services rendered that aren't covered, and letting the patient know in a timely manner that these fees are due so that they can pay their bill.

Dr. Pierre is absolutely the BEST podiatrist in the state of Ga. She's thorough, knowledgable, passionate, caring, professional, confident, a great listener, empathetic to your concern and shows compassion. She performed a successful bunion removal surgery last week on my right toe and the same ten years ago on my left toe. After seeing another podiatrist because of an emergency and convenience only 3 years ago, he said your scar looks really good the podiatrist did a great job, who did it. I said Dr. Pierre, he said well she did a great job. Anytime another physician gives you comments like that, that's enough proof that you're the best. Thanks Dr. Pierre and staff for the excellent services that you provide. Driving 2 hours round trip is well worth it.

If could give them 0 stars I would. My issues ranged from the office staff changing my appointment time several times without asking my permission (simply a text msg), and then on the day of the appointment, they opened the office 30 minutes late which meant I was on time waiting in my car and they were late with no apology, and I still had to wait, when I was the only patient (poor time management) at that time. On that same day, I had to fill out paperwork twice because the receptionist was incompetent and the newest receptionist is rude. Additionally, on the day of my appointment, I was charged upfront fees for my service, which I promptly paid but never received a detailed receipt of the services rendered and they knowingly overcharge me. My portion should have only been $74.21 but they charged me $175.81 and have refused to issue a refund. To add I have been waiting for nearly a month to get prelim dates for surgery, but the Office Manager, Ann, never returns calls If the front/back office is in disarray what does that imply about the quality of any procedure to be performed. If I were to move forward with my surgery, shall I expect incompetence and an astronomical bill because they do not have their books and records in order. I would stay away from this business, if you don't want to waste time or get cheated .

Dr. Pierre is a thorough doctor but my goodness she has to work on time managment. Today, I had a 9:30AM appointment and she wasn't even there and arrived more than 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment. It's not uncommon to be seen 30 minutes to an hour after your scheduled appointment. That is my only issue.

lSuperior office manager. Dr. Pierre has many years of experience. completes a thought History and Physical. Listens to your complaint. Addresses all issues. I have been and seen many podiatrists. I am now pleased to know I would not go to anyone else but her. She never rushes you and quality care. If you are looking for an excellent podiatrist,look no more. I will never go anywhere else. On 8/9/2022, I was overcharged for services and this was confirmed via her Office Manager and my insurance Company. I along with my insurance company have made several attempts to get the refund that was promised and owed to my; however this doctor has refused to refund my money and causing me undue stress with the continual follow up to only get the run around. nearly 3 months later. My insurance company advised they have a recording where they agreed to issue my check however during recent follow up the doctor claims she is in dispute with AETNA yet had not issued a formal dispute. The purported avoidance to pay a debt owed borderlines on insurance fraud as she knowingly collected funds from me and my insurance company for the same services and refuses even after providing her staff time to reconcile the account and they indicate it is OWED she refuses to refund my money. Each time I call there is a different excuse. Felecia when are you going to give me money?

UPDATE: I am well prepared to defend myself in any legal matter regarding this issue. I have carefully documented these actions and I have text messages, recorded calls etc. indicating this money is owed and that I have given ample time and keep getting a different response each time I call. I engaged my insurance Company who has also called and spoke to your directly, please note their calls are recorded. My insurance Company followed up again mid-October and your representative left a response (last recording) and indicated you were going to refund the overpayment but when I called last week again to follow up the new excuse was you were in dispute with my insurance company which I called to verify and they noted no appeal was filed by you. Furthermore, the reception ask did I speak to your Office Manager about this matter and I did and she called and confirmed again this money is owed to again (10/24) but yet still unpaid. To prove slander you would have to prove that anything I am saying is false, I have my EOB, CC bill showing the deduction, Aetna advocate recorded calls, text msgs indicated that I wanted my card refunded, shall I go on? I have documented all of my attempts as wells AETNA attempt to assist in getting this matter resolves. I can lawfully reach out to your business to collect debt that is owed, so until I receive my refund I will continue my collection efforts like any other bill collector.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Pierre! She made something that was very unpleasant, broken foot, so palpable and not so hard to deal with. She doesn't talk to you like a patient. She addresses you like a PERSON and takes her time with you to address all your concerns. I wish she specialized in more than podiatry! You will only go wrong if you don't see her for your foot/ankle needs.
